Friends of Rising Sun Country Park’s ‘Rubbish’ Nature Walk

The Friends will be joining groups across the country taking part in the Day of Action for Nature, Parks and Green Spaces on Saturday 18th April. Communities everywhere are coming together to show how much these places matter and why they need proper protection. On the day, we’ll be holding a ‘Rubbish Nature Walk’ – part litter‑picking, part nature‑spotting – to highlight the impact of litter and the wider pressures facing our environment. Litterpickers and bags provided - but please bring some heavy duty gardening type gloves if possible. Sturdy footwear and long trousers recommend and dress for the weather.
